1. Only trilogies or stand alones?
Standalones, definitely. I think some trilogies are trilogies just for the sake of selling more books when the story could easily be encapsulated in one book. Plus, I like jumping to different stories and worlds when I finish a book if I’m not marathoning a series.
2. Read only female or male authors?
This is difficult. Really, I don’t notice whether an author is male or female, especially if their name is abbreviated. I rarely look it up. So… any? Instead of reading just one gender, is not knowing the gender of the author an option… no? Uh… well… next question!
3. Shop at Barnes & Noble or Amazon?
Amazon. You think I can afford full price books? Actually, charity shops are my go to 🙂
4. All books become movies or t.v. shows?
TV shows! I wouldn’t be able to cope with just a movie of a really great book. Give me MORE! Unless it was a movie series like Harry Potter. Then I still want more but I’m satisfied enough to function.
5. Read 5 pages per day or 5 books per week?
5 books. Of course, that’s if someone could get me out of college and to a little log cabin by the sea with a book nook and a fireplace and my labradors and an unlimited Amazon gift card and super fast wifi and a blanket and tea and brownies and…
Okay, I’ll stop there.
6. Be a professional reviewer or author?
Author! It’s always been the dream and I have a few projects underway.
7. Only read your top 20 favourite books over and over or always read new ones that you haven’t read before?
I would have to go with new books I haven’t read before because as much as I love rereading my favourites, I think there would come a time when I stopped feeling the same way if it was all I read. Plus, who doesn’t want to read something new and exciting?!
8. Be a librarian or book seller?
Ooh… Bookseller. I would love to own my own bookshop somewhere quaint by the sea where I could make it all comfy and cute and as cheap as I could afford.
9. Only read your favourite genre, or every genre except your favourite?
I don’t have a favourite genre so I would really struggle to only adhere to or stay away from certain kinds of books. Even though it isn’t exactly a genre, I would maybe read everything except YA because though I love both now, there may come a time in my future (hopefully not) when I outgrow it.
10. Only read physical books or eBooks?
Only ebooks, as terrible as that sounds. I adore reading physical books but reading on my Kindle is just so much more practical and because I can take it anywhere, I get a lot more reading done.
I already did a tag this week so I don’t want to bombard anyone with tagging requests so if you’re reading this and you’d like to do it, I tag you! Comment a link and I’ll check it out.
Thanks for reading,
